Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools - Newham - September Start

We're hiring Graduate Teaching Assistants for secondary schools across Newham, starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers or education professionals to work closely with experienced educators, support students in and out of the classroom, and develop valuable skills before pursuing teacher training or further study.

The Role:

• Full-time position, term-time only

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 (ages 11-16)

• Assisting with classroom activities, 1:1 support, and small group interventions

• Providing tailored support for students with SEND or EAL (English as an Additional Language)

• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff

We're looking for:

• A recent graduate in any subject

• A strong interest in education and a desire to work with young people

• A proactive, adaptable, and positive attitude

• Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
