Are you a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible work in a variety of vibrant and welcoming primary schools? We are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic HLTAs to work on a supply basis across a well-respected Trust of primary schools in the Sheffield area, starting from September 2025.
About the Role:
As a supply HLTA, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, covering classes and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a range of school settings, build strong professional relationships, and enjoy the flexibility that supply work offers.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds HLTA status or equivalent relevant experience
Has recent experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting
Can confidently deliver lessons to whole classes when required
Is adaptable, reliable, and proactive
Has strong classroom management skills
Is passionate about making a positive difference in children's education
