1:1 EYFS Support Assistant - Primary School (BL3)
Are you passionate about nurturing young children and supporting their early learning journey? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a reliable and caring 1:1 EYFS Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL3), starting September 2025.
Location & Hours
- Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester (BL3 postcode)
- Start Date: September 2025
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (term time
Role Overview
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs in EYFS.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and help the pupil access the Early Years curriculum.
- Foster the child's independence, confidence, and personal development.
- Support with personal care needs (e.g. toileting, hygiene) sensitively and respectfully.
- Monitor progress and collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
About You
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with SEND, ideally within EYFS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, empathetic, proactive, and child-centred.
- Either possess or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
