Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or 3) - Primary School, Bolton

Start Date: September 2025 (full-time, term-time only)

Role Overview

  • Provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 under the direction of class teachers.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions, especially for pupils with SEND.
  • Help to implement EHCPs, monitor and track pupil progress, and maintain clear, effective communication with staff and families
  • Assist in preparing engaging lessons and promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (e.g., CACHE Diploma or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a primary school, ideally supporting SEND pupils.
  • Demonstrable skills in behaviour management, differentiation, and parent/staff liaison.
  • Excellent communication, patience, adaptability, and teamwork.
