Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Camden, London
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only

About the Role
Tradewind Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Camden. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.

  • Assist with classroom management and lesson delivery.

  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.

  • Support social, emotional, and behavioural development.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • TA qualification (Level 2/3) desirable but not essential.
