Job Title: Supply Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Hackney, London
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Supply / Flexible (Full-time or Part-time)
About the Role
Tradewind Education is recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work on a supply basis across primary schools in Hackney. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and want to gain experience in different school settings, while supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a Supply LSA, you will provide classroom and one-to-one support, ensuring pupils with additional needs have the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support primary-aged pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, within the classroom and during small group work.
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Help pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of individual students.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
At least 6 months' experience working in primary schools or supporting primary-aged children (essential).
Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
