Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Salford
Start Date: ASAP | Pay: £90 - £100 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Secondary School in Salford who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups within lessons.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Support students with additional needs, including SEND and EAL learners.
Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and independent learning.
Play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Candidate Requirements
We are only able to accept applications from individuals who have previous experience working within schools or educational settings. To be successful, you will need:
A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Strong classroom support skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
