Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a welcoming two-form entry Primary School in Dagenham that is committed to inclusion and has a strong community feel. They are seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

The ideal KS1 Teacher will:

  • Have a solid understanding of Phonics teaching (Letters and Sounds, Read Write Inc or equivalent).
  • Confidently deliver early reading, writing and maths with a focus on mastery and fluency.
  • Use formative assessment effectively to identify gaps and adapt teaching.
  • Plan engaging lessons that support social, emotional and language development.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of SEND, EAL and higher-attaining pupils.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Essential Compliance Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Proof of professional qualifications.
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years.
