Key Details:

The ideal KS2 Teacher will:

Have secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum (English, Maths, Science and foundation subjects).

Confidently prepare pupils for end of Key Stage 2 SATs through effective teaching and targeted intervention.

Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that promote independence and resilience.

Use a range of assessment strategies to track progress and adapt planning accordingly.

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of SEND, EAL and higher-attaining pupils.

Demonstrate strong behaviour management and create a positive classroom culture.

Use ICT and digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share planning, resources and good practice.

Essential Compliance Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Proof of professional qualifications.
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years.
