The Role: Residential Support Worker, Blackpool

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be an essential part of our pastoral team, providing support and supervision for students outside of normal school hours. Your role will involve creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students in our residential accommodation, helping them to develop independence and social skills. .

Key responsibilities include:

  • Student Well-being: Acting as a key point of contact for students, offering emotional support and guidance.

  • Evening & Weekend Activities: Planning and leading a range of evening and weekend activities and excursions.

  • Supervision: Ensuring the safety and security of all students in the residential setting.

  • Daily Routines: Supporting students with their daily routines, including mealtimes, homework, and bedtime.

  • Safeguarding: Playing a crucial role in the school's safeguarding and child protection procedures.
