Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced secondary school in the Higham Ferrers area. This is a full-time, long-term role commencing in January 2026, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging and challenging lessons
Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Collaborating with a dynamic and experienced English department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
Excellent classroom management skills
The ability to motivate and inspire students
A commitment to raising standards and achievement
