Immediate Start: Qualified Early Years, KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistants Needed!
Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years, KS1, or KS2 Teaching Assistant? We have immediate openings for you! Due to high demand, we are seeking dedicated professionals for Nursery, Pre-school, Reception, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 roles across the Fylde coast.
We're looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people's lives and in supporting and developing their learning.
These are temporary positions offering both short and long-term cover, with working hours typically between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during term-time.
Locations: Schools currently seeking support are located in the Blackpool, Thornton Cleveleys, and Fleetwood. All schools are accessible via public transport (bus/tram) and offer on-site parking.
Pay:
£13.68 - £15.68 per hour
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Long-term roles are paid to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.
Working with students either one-to-one or in small groups out of the classroom.
Developing and implementing engaging educational programs for pupils.
Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all pupils.
Communicating effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Observing and assessing pupils' progress, providing feedback to enhance their learning.
Maintaining accurate records of pupils' development and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Driving initiatives that promote social skills, emotional development, and physical well-being.
Essential Criteria:
You must hold a recognised qualification. Accepted examples include:
Early Years Practitioner or Nursery qualifications.
TA Qualification with a relevant specialism.
- BA Hons Degree in Teaching and Learning or HLTA.
