Job Title: Unqualified Teacher

Salary: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Available

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and confident individuals to work as Unqualified Teachers in secondary schools across the Kettering area. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, cover supervisors, or teaching assistants who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience and kick-start a career in education.

About the Role:

As an Unqualified Teacher, you'll be delivering pre-set lessons and managing classroom behaviour across a range of subjects. You'll work closely with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure a positive learning environment, helping students stay on track with their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher

  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies

  • Supporting students with their learning and engagement

  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

  • Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and year groups

Requirements:

  • A degree or strong educational background (desirable)

  • Experience working with young people in any capacity (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work)

  • Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills

  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

  • Right to work in the UK
