Join a lovely Romford primary school as KS1 teacher - Full-Time for the Academic Year

The school is currently seeking a dedicated KS1 teacher to support children with special educational needs on a full-time basis for the academic year.

Key Details:

  • Start: ASAP - full-time, academic year
  • Salary: £150 - £160 per day
  • Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers
  • Location: Havering - easily accessible by car (on-site parking) and public transport (District Line & local bus routes)

Skills & Experience of the Ideal Teacher:

  • Proven experience in Year 1 or KS1 is desirable
  • Experience teaching phonics and early reading
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Ability to deliver engaging lessons that support academic excellence
  • Skilled in assessing pupil progress and using data to inform teaching
  • Excellent communication with parents, colleagues, and leadership

Essential Compliance Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Proof of professional qualifications.
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years.
