Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a busy secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You'll assist with individual and group work, support students with additional needs, and help maintain a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities
Assist students with learning tasks and promote independence
Help manage classroom behaviour and support inclusion
Prepare resources and support administrative tasks
Work with students who may have special educational needs or disabilities

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths desirable
