Salary: £195-£120 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident and flexible Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the Wellingborough area. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom.
A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as the role may involve travel to different schools in and around Wellingborough.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising students in the absence of the regular class teacher. While you won't be expected to plan or assess, you will be required to manage classroom behaviour, ensure learning continues, and provide support where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in a secondary school setting.
Maintain a calm and focused learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Provide support to students and respond to any questions or issues during the lesson.
Ensure all work is collected and feedback is passed on to the relevant teacher.
Be punctual, professional, and adaptable to different school environments.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).
Be confident with classroom management and able to take initiative.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be flexible and reliable, with the ability to travel between schools.
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport.
Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check and complete necessary safeguarding training.
Be open to ongoing professional development.
