Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Secondary School, Newham
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only

Our vibrant secondary school in Newham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

  • Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other staff to deliver individual and small-group interventions.

  • Foster positive relationships, build confidence, and encourage independence in learners.

  • Contribute to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting young people with additional needs (autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or social/emotional needs).

  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting students.

  • Can work effectively as part of a team and use their initiative when required.

  • Has strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
