Our vibrant secondary school in Newham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.
In this role, you will:
Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other staff to deliver individual and small-group interventions.
Foster positive relationships, build confidence, and encourage independence in learners.
Contribute to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting young people with additional needs (autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or social/emotional needs).
Is patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting students.
Can work effectively as part of a team and use their initiative when required.
Has strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
