Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Religious Education in a school located in Waltham Forest?

We are seeking a full-time Religious Education Teacher for our client based in Waltham Forest, starting November 2025 - July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly supportive school environment with strong Ofsted recognition.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Minimal planning required
  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Contribute to departmental development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Support the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
  • Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
