Key Responsibilities

• Support lower secondary students displaying challenging or impulsive behaviour

• Promote calm, structured, and positive classroom management strategies

• Help pupils develop coping skills, resilience, and confidence in school life

• Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress

• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver targeted interventions

Role Details

• Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, term time only

• Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)

• Start: Immediate

Essential Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have proven experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour

• Can remain calm, patient, and consistent under pressure

• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and colleagues

• Bring strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Background in education, youth work, or social care is highly desirable
