Haringey | Graduate Teaching Assistant
A lively and inclusive secondary school in Haringey is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive staff team. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for recent graduates considering a career in teaching or education, offering valuable classroom experience and professional development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
Support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons.
Assist individual students or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure they can fully access the curriculum.
Provide general classroom support to maintain a positive learning environment and improve pupil engagement.
Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Assist with classroom organization and resources, contributing to smooth daily operations.
We're Looking For:
Recent graduate (any subject considered).
Enthusiastic, reliable, and confident working with teenagers.
Previous experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage students.
Aspiring teachers or education professionals looking to gain hands-on classroom experience are highly encouraged to apply.
