History Teacher
A large secondary school based in Ealing are looking for a history teacher.
School are looking for someone to start on a long term maternity cover contract from after the October half term until July 2026.
This position is full time. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will match Inner London MPS/UPS.
School has available parking spaces.
History Teacher - Ealing, London
* Deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging students to explore key historical events, people, and themes.
* Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical curiosity through discussions, debates, and source-based learning.
* Encourage students to make connections between the past and the present, helping them understand the relevance of history in today's world.
* Create a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect and high expectations.
* Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain high standards within the humanities faculty.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A relevant degree in History or a related subject
* Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Approachable and encouraging
