Cover Supervisor

A large secondary school based in Hillingdon are looking for a cover supervisor to support on a temporary, day-to-day basis.
The school are looking for someone reliable and confident to provide classroom supervision across a range of subjects when teachers are absent.
This is a flexible position suitable for those seeking casual work with availability from 8:15am to 3:30pm.
Day rates are between £100 and £110 per day, depending on experience.
School has available parking spaces.

Cover Supervisor - Hillingdon, London

* Supervise pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
* Maintain a focused and orderly classroom environment, ensuring students remain on task.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and report any issues to the relevant department.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress and classroom conduct.
* Support students' learning while promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident, adaptable, and calm under pressure
* A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
