Specialist Advisory Teacher - Autism & Complex Needs (ASC/ASD)

Redbridge | 💼 MPS6 - UPS3 (£258-£288 per day)

Start: After October Half Term 3rd November 2025 - Expected to February 2026

Are you an experienced SEN professional with a passion for supporting pupils with Autism (ASC/ASD) and other complex needs? Do you enjoy working across schools to share expertise and embed inclusive practice?

We are seeking a Specialist Advisory Teacher to provide tailored support to schools in Redbridge. In this role, you could be allocated a caseload across primary, secondary, or SEND schools / students, offering guidance, coaching, and practical strategies to improve outcomes for pupils with a range of complex needs.

The Role

As a Specialist Advisory Teacher, you will:

  • Partner with mainstream and specialist schools across Redbridge
  • Demonstrate practical, evidence-based strategies in classrooms
  • Coach and support staff to embed inclusive practices for learners with Autism and other complex needs
  • Champion best practice and influence whole-school provision

About You

  • Experienced SEN teacher with strong and recent expertise in Autism and other complex needs
  • Confident working across primary, secondary, and SEND settings
  • Solutions-focused, proactive, and skilled at inspiring, advising, and building capacity in others
  • Knowledgeable in evidence-based approaches for ASC and complex learners
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
