The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support classroom learning, help manage students, and assist with a range of administrative and pastoral duties. This role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers in the delivery of lessons.
Work with individuals or small groups of students to support learning.
Assist with preparation of teaching resources and classroom activities.
Support students' social and emotional development.
Help maintain records, track student progress, and assist with administrative tasks.
Person Specification:
Recent graduate with a degree in any subject.
Passion for education and working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, organised, and proactive.
Previous experience in a school or with children is desirable but not essential.
