Cover Supervisor - Kettering
Full-time | Term Time Only | Long-term Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Kettering area. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience, whether you're considering a future in teaching or seeking a rewarding position working with young people.

About the Role:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Delivering pre-prepared work to students and ensuring a focused classroom environment

  • Managing behaviour in line with the school's policy

  • Supporting students in their learning and maintaining a positive atmosphere

  • Full-time/Part-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (preferred but not essential)

  • Be confident, adaptable, and able to manage a classroom independently

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be organised, calm under pressure, and committed to supporting student learning

  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
