Inclusion Room Supervisor - SEN Support
Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Daily Rate: £90-£110 (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a secondary school in Kettering to recruit a dedicated and resilient Inclusion Room Supervisor. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for someone passionate about supporting students with additional needs in a structured and nurturing environment.

About the Role:

As an Inclusion Room Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing a supportive learning space designed for students who need time away from mainstream classes. Whether due to social, emotional, or behavioural challenges, these learners benefit from targeted support and consistency-something you'll play a key role in providing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising students referred to the inclusion room, ensuring they stay engaged and focused on set tasks.

  • Promoting a calm and respectful environment where students feel safe and supported.

  • Working closely with SEN staff, behaviour leads, and pastoral teams to address individual student needs.

  • Recording progress and contributing to reviews and intervention plans.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students reintegrate successfully into the classroom.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with special educational needs, SEMH, or behavioural challenges.

  • Strong classroom or small-group supervision skills.

  • The ability to de-escalate situations and maintain a calm, professional approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
