Cover Supervisor - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a well-supported and dynamic secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical classroom experience-ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or those passionate about education and working with young people.
About the Role:
Supervising students during lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged and on task
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and professionally
Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, term-time only
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people in a school, tuition, or youth setting (preferred but not essential)
Be confident, professional, and able to manage a classroom independently
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be calm under pressure and able to adapt to a variety of classroom situations
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
