Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with students who face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and resilient SEN Learning Mentors to work in a variety of fantastic schools across Daventry, Rugby, and the surrounding areas.

As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to remove barriers to learning and promoting positive engagement. You'll work closely with SENCOs, teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide tailored interventions that meet each student's individual needs. Roles are available in both mainstream and specialist provisions, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN

  • Helping manage behaviour in a positive and supportive manner

  • Delivering targeted interventions and emotional support

  • Encouraging pupil engagement and boosting self-esteem

  • Assisting with academic and personal development
