Behaviour Mentor - Greenwich
Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start | Mainstream Secondary School
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Greenwich who are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll work one-to-one and in small groups with students, helping them to stay focused, manage their behaviour, and develop positive relationships in school. You'll work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to implement strategies that encourage engagement and support students' wellbeing and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted behavioural and emotional support to identified students
Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage personal growth and resilience
Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour effectively
Help students re-engage with learning and school routines
Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting young people (school, youth work, or similar)
Calm, confident, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Availability for a full-time, long-term role
