We're working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Bolton seeking a talented Mathematics specialist to join their team from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or confident ECT to inspire students and make a real impact within a supportive, high-achieving Maths department.

The Role

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching available for the right candidate).
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that challenge and engage learners of all abilities.
• Track pupil progress and provide feedback to ensure strong outcomes and confidence in Maths.
• Contribute to departmental planning, assessments, and extra-curricular activities.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS (or equivalent overseas teaching qualification).
• Has experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Committed to raising achievement and fostering a love of Mathematics.
• Organised, adaptable, and confident working as part of a collaborative team.
