Job Description
Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of our partner primary school located in Bolton who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers to support the learning and wellbeing of our pupils, helping every child to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and displays.
- Provide care and support for pupils with additional needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our values and ethos.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has experience working with children in a primary school setting.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Shows initiative and a commitment to supporting the progress and wellbeing of all learners.
- A current, enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).
