Location: Hillingdon, West London
Contract: Term Time Only, Full-Time
Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)

A primary SEND school in Hillingdon is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support for primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism and Speech & Language needs. This full-time, term-time role is ideal for someone calm, consistent, and experienced in helping pupils access learning and participate fully in school life.
Role Overview
Provide personalised support for primary students with SEND, including Autism and Speech & Language needs
Support pupils to access learning, follow routines, and develop confidence in school life
Work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements
Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND
Calm, patient, and consistent approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Background in education, SEND support, or related experience desirable
Role Details
Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, Term Time Only
Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
