Pay: £90 - £100 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated individual who has previously worked within a secondary school setting and is passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey.
About the Role:
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in class and through targeted small group work.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Provide academic and emotional support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support with administrative and classroom preparation tasks as required.
This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with the potential for a long-term or permanent placement for the right candidate.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have recent experience working within a UK secondary school - applications without this experience will not be considered.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Be patient, proactive, and committed to supporting the educational and personal development of young people.
Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind).
