Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor - Part-Time

Hours: 08:30am - 1:30pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Contract: Part-Time
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team at an Ofsted Good, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sutton.
About the Role:
The day would involve supporting as a Teaching Assistant for the morning from 8:30am - 11:30pm, then supporting with lunchtime supervision until 1:30pm. You will support as a general classroom TA, possibly providing some 1:1 support to children with additional needs, then supporting lunchtimes by supervising and safeguarding children during the lunch breaks. This is a perfect opportunity if you are seeking a part-time role during the day, as the contracted hours are 8:30am - 13:30pm daily. You will be responsible for supervising children during the lunchtime period, both in the dining hall and playground, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive behaviour and good manners.
About the School:
This is a beautiful, 3-form entry Infant School situated in a sub-urban town in Sutton with a Good current Ofsted report. They are a short train or bus ride from Sutton station for public transport users.
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and has a caring, patient attitude.
Is punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
Can use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
Has previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable, but not essential).
