About the Role
As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school's premises and facilities are maintained to a high standard. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, security, and smooth running of the school buildings and grounds.
Your duties will include:
Opening and locking up the school premises
Conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs
Managing heating, lighting, and alarm systems
Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and secure
Overseeing contractors and deliveries
Supporting with site setup for school events and activities
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Practical, trustworthy, and proactive
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Physically fit and comfortable handling maintenance tasks
Experienced in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role (school experience desirable but not essential)
