Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Corby
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a successful secondary school in Corby who are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and caring individual to make a real difference in students' learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Role
Providing classroom support to students with a range of abilities and needs.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation, resources, and group work.
Supporting students on a one-to-one or small group basis to help them achieve their learning goals.
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN team to ensure all students make good progress.
Requirements
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience supporting students in a school setting.
A patient, positive, and adaptable approach to working with young people.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
An up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).
