SEN Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start
Location: Secondary Schools in Watford, Hertfordshire
Contract: Full-Time or Flexible Supply | Competitive Pay via PAYE
Are you an SEN teaching Assistant looking to join a good school with supportive SENCO on a temp to permanent basis? Tradewind Secondary are looking to speak is with enthusiastic and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to support a popular and busy Secondary school in Watford, Hertfordshire.
This is a great opportunity to become part of a well run SEN team in a school that offers superb development including routes into Teacher training!
What you'll be doing:
Supporting class teachers delivery lesson content and lead classroom activities
Working with students with moderate or mild SEN requirements on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Help to engage pupils in their learning whilst creating a positive and inclusive environment for all.
The chance to further develop your skills and experience for future teacher training or diversify into other area's of SEN or Education work.
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting or working with pupils with additional SEN requirements.
An Enhanced DBS that is on DBS Update Service we can help with this application process
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion, reliability, and a genuine interest in education
- Recent Graduates without school or youth work experience are also welcome to apply
