Nursery Teacher - Islington
Start Date: ASAP
Interviews: Week commencing 3rd November 2025 (after half term)
Pay: £206.75 - £237.64 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Until July 2026 (Full academic year)

SANZA Teaching Agency are proud to be working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Islington, supporting them in the recruitment of a Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, creative, and passionate teacher who is dedicated to providing an engaging and nurturing start to children's education.

The Role:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to promote every child's progress and well-being.

  • Use a range of creative and play-based teaching strategies to support early literacy, numeracy, and personal development.

  • Monitor and track children's progress, maintaining accurate observations and assessments.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - (ECTs will not be considered at this time).

  • Has proven experience teaching within Early Years (Nursery or Reception).

  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective early years pedagogy.

  • Is passionate about early childhood education, with the ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.

  • Brings excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
