1:1 Teaching Assistant - Corby, Northamptonshire - Immediate Start - Long-Term Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a two-form entry primary school in Corby who are looking to appoint an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with additional learning needs.

This position is to start immediately after the October half term and requires a candidate with strong SEN experience.

About the role:

  • Providing tailored support to meet the child's learning, emotional, and social needs.
  • Adapting classroom activities and materials to suit individual targets.
  • Promoting engagement, independence, and confidence through structured routines and positive reinforcement.
  • Working collaboratively with staff and external professionals to ensure consistent progress and care.
  • Contributing to the overall success of the Early Years team.

About you:

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in Early Years or Key Stage 1.
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour.
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with children and colleagues.
  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting early education.
