Job Opportunity: Associate Teacher of Maths - Level 6 Teaching Apprenticeship

Training Provider: Cumbria University
Route to QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Duration: Up to 15 months

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer a unique opportunity for aspiring educators to become Associate Teachers in our partner schools while studying through our partner SCITT.


What's Involved?

As an Associate Teacher, you will:

  • Work full-time, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil development.
  • Dedicate 6 hours per week to your own learning and development.
  • Join the Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeship course, with QTS awarded within 15 months.
  • Experience a blend of academic study and school-based practice that links theory directly to the classroom.
  • Be supported by an Academic Mentor and Work-based Education Officer from Staffordshire University.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for pupil progress and development within your classes.
  • Act as an academic progress tutor, supporting the holistic development of students.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and the effective use of school resources.
  • Develop and enhance your own teaching practice to meet the evolving needs of learners.

  • Degree qualified (or in final year of studies)
