A forward-thinking secondary school in Islington is recruiting a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral team from January 2026. This role is perfect for graduates passionate about supporting young people's emotional, social, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group mentoring for students needing additional support.
  • Assist with the implementation of positive behaviour strategies.
  • Encourage engagement and promote a growth mindset among students.
  • Build trusted relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Help create a calm and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with young people (schools, mentoring, or youth work).
  • Calm, patient, and solution-focused in challenging situations.
  • Motivated by helping young people achieve their potential.
