Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Bolton area. This maternity cover position will begin in January 2026 and run for one academic year.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, inspiring and motivating pupils

  • Plan effectively to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every child makes progress

  • Provide a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and achievement

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil development

This is an excellent opportunity to teach a well-behaved and enthusiastic class in a nurturing and community-focused school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
