Long-Term Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher - Year 2
Start: January 2026 | Location: Bolton | Contract: Until end of academic year (possible extension)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher looking for a long-term supply role where you can make a real impact? We are seeking a motivated professional to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Bolton, working with a supportive leadership team and experienced Key Stage staff.
The Role
Teach a Year 2 class from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year, with potential to continue into the next year.
Deliver high-quality teaching across the full Year 2 curriculum, including English, Maths, Science, and Foundation subjects.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development.
Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Year 2).
Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and the ability to plan lessons that inspire and meet the needs of all learners.
Excellent classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
Commitment to raising attainment and closing gaps in learning.
Outstanding communication skills to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Flexibility, resilience, and a "can-do" approach, ideally suited to supply and long-term placements.
