We are currently working with a number of forward-thinking secondary schools across Northampton seeking to appoint Science Teachers to join their departments as soon as possible or from January 2026. These roles are available on both a long-term and permanent basis, depending on your experience and preferences.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 if desired
Inspire students through hands-on experiments, enquiry-based learning, and real-world scientific contexts
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, promoting progress and achievement
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, assessment, and enrichment activities
Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture where Science is celebrated and valued
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, or the ability to teach across multiple disciplines
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a passion for engaging students of all abilities
Committed to professional growth and evidence-informed teaching practice
A reflective and collaborative teacher who contributes positively to the wider school community
