Location: Northampton

Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential for Permanent Placement
Daily Rate: £100-£160 (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supporting and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Helping students understand complex scientific ideas through clear explanations and creative learning activities

  • Encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Managing classroom behaviour with guidance and support from qualified teachers

  • Assisting with marking, assessments, and lesson preparation

  • Taking part in ongoing professional development and school initiatives

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biomedical Science)

  • Has a genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their learning

  • Possesses confidence, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills

  • Is adaptable, proactive, and open to feedback

  • May be considering a future route into teacher training (PGCE, SCITT, or QTS Apprenticeship)

  • Has (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
