2:1 Teaching Assistant - Northampton, Northamptonshire - Immediate Start - Full-Time
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and compassionate 2:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming primary school in Northampton. This is an immediate-start position working closely with two pupils who require tailored, consistent support to help them thrive in the classroom.

About the role:
- Provide focused, personalised support to two pupils with additional needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement tailored strategies
- Assist in delivering structured interventions
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Create a calm, positive, and encouraging learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
About you:
- Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs, ideally within a UK primary school
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and positive when challenges arise
