Student Services Assistant: First Aid and Wellbeing

Location: Kettering Area
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (potential for permanent)
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working with a thriving secondary school in the Kettering area who are seeking a caring, organised, and proactive Student Services Assistant to join their supportive pastoral and wellbeing team.

This is a key role within the school, providing vital support to students' health, wellbeing, and day-to-day needs. You'll be at the heart of the school community, helping to ensure students are safe, supported, and ready to learn.


The Role:

As the Student Services Assistant (First Aid and Wellbeing), you will:

  • Provide first aid and medical assistance to students and staff as required.

  • Maintain accurate health records and ensure first aid supplies are well-stocked.

  • Support the emotional wellbeing of students, offering a listening ear and signposting to appropriate support services.

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks within Student Services, including attendance and pastoral support.

  • Work collaboratively with the safeguarding and pastoral teams to promote student welfare.


About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Calm, compassionate, and able to support students with a range of physical and emotional needs.

  • First Aid trained (or willing to undertake training).

  • Organised and confident managing administrative duties in a busy school environment.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

  • Experienced in working with young people in a school, healthcare, or wellbeing setting (preferred).
