Learning Support Assistant - Kettering

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with additional learning needs

  • Assisting teachers with differentiated activities and effective classroom organisation

  • Supporting students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional or behavioural challenges

  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement in learning

  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion throughout the school day

  • Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Is passionate about supporting young people, particularly those with SEN

  • Brings a patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to every situation

  • Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships with students and staff

  • Is reliable, flexible, and thrives working as part of a team

  • May have experience in education, care, youth work, or SEN support (advantageous but not essential)

  • Is eager to learn, grow, and develop within a school environment
