Job Title: Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Lambeth)
Location: Lambeth, London
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only (Monday-Friday)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentors to join inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Lambeth. These schools are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for every student, and you will play a key role in maintaining that ethos.

About the Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Support students in managing their behaviour, emotions, and engagement in learning.

  • Build trusting relationships with young people to encourage positive choices and personal growth.

  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to implement tailored behaviour support plans.

  • Deliver one-to-one or small-group mentoring sessions focusing on emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience.

  • Help to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrates empathy, patience, and consistency in supporting young people.

  • Can remain calm under pressure and think proactively when challenges arise.

  • Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational, youth work, or mentoring capacity.

  • Is passionate about helping students develop both personally and academically.
