Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to join a welcoming secondary school in Greenwich. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately - an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in supporting student engagement and ensuring excellent attendance across the school.
About the Role:
Monitor and record daily student attendance and punctuality using SIMS or Bromcom
Follow up on absences with parents and carers via phone, email, and meetings
Work closely with the pastoral and safeguarding teams to address attendance concerns
Produce accurate attendance reports and maintain confidential records
Support whole-school initiatives aimed at improving attendance and engagement
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school office or attendance role (essential)
Proficiency in SIMS, Bromcom, or similar school management systems
Strong communication and organisational skills
A professional, approachable manner and attention to detail
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
